Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

This is a very long read. It took me six weeks to finish, and I'm a pretty fast reader, however t is worth it. It is an older book that takes a little longer to absorb. a fantastically woven romance novel that will make you want to find out what happens faster than you can read. I personally loved it. This just might be my favorite book. It can be very descriptive and that is what causes you to take you so long to read it. My copy had over 400 pages and seemed a little intimidating at first, but once you get started it doesn't seem as scary. All readers will enjoy it. Have fun!!

Prom Anonymos by Blake Nelson

Prom Anonymous is a spectacular read for girls between the ages of fifteen and eighteen. I would say for girls between the ages of thirteen and eighteen were it not for the occasional swearing. It a wonderful on every level. You get to see prom, the preparations for it, and the process of finding dates from three different girls points of view who used to be friends. It is one of my favorite books. It definitely has some humorous parts to it, and a few serious parts. I think all girls who read it will be enchanted by it, for sure a page turner (I read it in a day). Enjoy!!

Someone Like Summer by M.E. Kern

This book is about a young girl who defies her father by dating an illegal Latino who works for her father. It is a romance book for girls between the ages of twelve and seventeen, and a quick read. It is a pretty common romance novel in the respect that the story line is typical. It does include a few twists and is over all a good read, but it isn't my favorite book. It is a page turner by all means, and will make you you go go crazy by thinking about what will happen next.

The Murder of my Stalker by Eva Garcia

This is a intricately written book about the amazing story of Eva Garcia's stalker and the plot to kill him. In this book you will get to see how a young girl's life is turned upside down by an old man. It is a very heart wrenching story told from Eva's point of view. I personally found it to be a quick read, and a good one. I recommend you read all the appendixes in the back of the book, including the court proceedings. It is a book that will be enjoyed by all who read it.

The Dear Dumb Dairy Series by Jim Benton

These books show a sense of humor that will make you laugh out loud. I have read these books a few times, there are five in the series. You get to see middle school from Jamie Kelley's point of view. She tries to keep things true as she writes in her journal,or as true as she thinks things need to be.You will get to see her opinion on things like this pretty girl at school named Angeline, some cute boys, her best friend Isabella, and her mom's bad cooking. Definitely some funny moments all illustrated by Jamie. I would say this book is geared toward girls between the ages of 8 and 11,even though Jamie is in middle school I think younger girls will be able to relate to her too. It might not be direct, but you definitely see some similarities in your problems compared to hers.

The Dangerous Days Of Daniel X by James Patterson

I'm at a loss for words to explain this book. James Patterson writes in a magnificent and interesting way. Here he wrote about Daniel X an alien hunter with incredible powers. You'll have to read with an open mind to fully absorb this book. It has some humor to it and will surely make you laugh. When James Patterson wrote this he definitely made sure it would be enjoyed by many. Although you may not think you'll like it you should try it because you may be in for a surprise. It is written very well. You should really consider reading this book.

Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson

Peaches is stunning. It's about three very different girls growing up, and finding friendship and comfort in one another. You get to see the book from all the girls eyes. This book was written purely for girls between the ages 15 through 18. Peaches is written in a totally unique style. Among all the books I've read I've never seen anything quite like it. Peaches makes you think in a a very different way. I would recommend it to any girl between the ages I said above. I finished this book in 1 day if that says anything to you. Peaches definitely has some humor to it, some dry, and some that will make you laugh out loud. Peaches is an extremely sweet read.

Eragon by Christopher Paolini

Eragon is amazing. I read this book for the second time and still found many surprises. It is so vivid you'll feel like you're there watching everything happen. Christopher Paolini makes your mind believe that this fantasy could be real. You'll never doubt him for a second as you read his book. You'll learn about dragons in this book, because Eragon becomes a Rider. A dragon Rider. You'll be there with Eragon as he struggles to defy the Empire. You'll see Eragon learn magic, defeat foes, and suffer great losses early on in life. This book keeps you anxious to find out what happens next, and definitely qualifies as a page turner if I've ever seen one.Make sure you find time to read this book, and if you enjoy it be sure to read the second in the series Eldest.

Up A Road Slowly by Irene Hunt

It is a wonderful book about a girl growing up with many hardships, and falling in love. It is definitely a book written for girls, but that doesn't stop it from being a fantastic book. So good in fact that I just read it for the second time. I have to say Irene Hunt did phenomenal job. The only bad comment would be that it's a bit hard to follow at times because the author will go from quoting a conversation, to reflecting on a memory, back to the conversation. Despite that this book should definitely make your reading list.
